Reflection Nº2. “Interactions in the classroom”

B. Team-teaching stage.

This artifact is a scene of a movie. It represents how the students with a good motivation can be part actively of a class and how the personal experiences can be a good tool for learning inside the classroom.

I selected this artifact because my guide teacher recreated  the same situation in a large class, at first I did not thought it would work, I thought "it only works in movies" and It made me think of  the confidence and the creativity of the teacher to proposed a new way of learning in this case "past perfect". All the student were asked to created a question after the example of the teacher and surprisingly everyone participated and actually shared a lot of personal moments.
This experience made me realize that when you are a  proactive and creative teacher, the students react in a positive way and the would make you feel like you are part of something. This activity was very personal and I was able to get to know them better and they were able to know more about me. Everyone inside that class shared so many personal experiences. As a teacher I should be proactive creative and always think beyond of what they need to learn.
The school should integrate our experiences as a way of learning, who we are, because all of those experiences would help the students to be better and be able to develop themselves inside the class and their abilities.
